A carolina wren has taken up residence in the news slot of my family's mailbox. We aren't particularly bothered by it, but the wren gets startled and flies out every time someone gets the mail, which probably isn't great for it. Do you have any advice on how to get the wren to move?

Oh birds. They really do make some interesting choices.

Getting any nest moved is a nightmare + there can be legality factors depending on where you are. You usually have to set up a site very close by, and hope they move and don't abandon the nest completely. If you don't mind them in there, you could always put up a sign, cover the slot, but human presence will probably still stress them out.

Sorry I just came to ur blog cuz I saw the lamb post on Twitter…fwiw I really liked it! The image of the lamb’s eyes being “animal and dumb and hold[ing] no accusation” was so clear to me, just the rectangular pupil of a lamb (an evolutionary advantage to better look for danger, no less) looking at you with its last moments of life and not even being filled with any contempt? Over and over again? Idk that image just resonated with me. It was cool. Sorry if this is stupid/you don’t care/etc, just wanted to say I liked your writing and I wish you well :)

This is because I will never shut up about theembracedone's interactive map and how much I love that project and how much it saved me when I was referencing areas and palettes from them when working on my hollow knight art

This video has an interesting breakdown of what had to be adjusted on the original layout of the map rooms, many of them that I didn't even notice were needed or there due to how well it's done! It's very impressive! So much work went into it!

Started off our weekend hiking trip with a visit to the Alix Nature Trail, a few hours away from home. It turned out to be a seasonal trail that isn't maintained in winter, but we still had a nice time meandering around while the dogs sniffed tracks in the snow.

In lore PlanetaryFizz (name given to it by the head scientist) is the largest

It's a transdimensional entity that infiltrated the Aether Orbiter and assumed the appearance of the Aethers inside. It's not malignant, but it's not overly friendly. You could approach it but it's very dangerous to, it could kill you in an instant.

It's held in some sort of cell in the laboratory and is being studied. The head scientist, Hollunuo, has appointed himself the task of understanding this... Thing.

It's driving him mad though. At first he thought the cell actually contained the entity, but he quickly realized that no. The entity is staying in there willingly. It can leave whenever it wants to.

PlanetaryFizz' true size is unknown, but after the Orbiter returned to Sornieth and the entity was taken to the lab it grew in size. Significantly. It's about the size of a 3–4 story house currently.

i keep seeing glaze/nightshade disk horse and i should mention that literally all the points on all sides are literally mentioned in their about and FAQ. the team is aware of the strenght and weaknesses of the program and are aware that its just a bandaid/temporary solution to a larger problem, that its impossible for them to keep up with all models and updates and also that it is made specifically against style mimicry. can y'all actually read the extremely accessible documentation before starting shit

this is all freely avaible on the glaze site, and you have to go through these to even download or access the program. it's not hidden. theyre all very transparent about it. in the age where any program may alter or scrape data from the images you insert, learn to read the documentation
